What's in your bridal makeup kit?

It is very important to have the right items in your bridal makeup kit that can be used to create different bridal looks. Lets start with accesssories.

• Cotton Wool
• Q-Tips
• Hand Sanitizer
• Makeup Sponge
• Wipes
• Disposable Applicators
• Tweezers
• Eyelash Curlers
• Scissors
• Makeup Pencil Sharpener
• Makeup Remover
• Brush Cleaner
• Rubbing Alcohol
• Cleanser
• Toner
• Moisturizer

A bridal makeup kit is incomplete without the following items.

1. Face primer

Benefit porefessional primer is one of my all time favourite products. It will make your client's skin feel so smooth after application and will quickly minimize the appearance of pores! It is a bit expensive £20 + but a very good product.

2. Concealer

Concealers usually do a good job of hiding blemishes by blending the imperfection into the surrounding skin tone. A concealer palette is recommended simply because it has different shades that you can mix and match.

3. Liquid foundation.

You need at least four different shades in your bridal makeup kit - you need the lightest shade, the darkest shade, and two shades that are in between. You might also want to use the same foundation that your bride normally use in order to prevent any chance of breakouts.

4. Powder

This is used as a setting powder over the liquid foundation. And you also need at least four different shades. (the lightest shade, the darkest shade, and two shades that are in between)

5. Contour Powder

You need at least four different shades.

6. Blush

A blush palette is recommended. I got this from House of Tara, in Nigeria. Its a very good palette.

7. Eye primer

My favourite is Urban Decay because it guarantees more vibrant eyeshadow that lasts all day and NEVER CREASES!

8. Eyeshadows
A nude/ natural pallete is recommended. You also need to add other colours to your kit - and yeshadow pigments

9. Eyeliner (pencil / gel/ liquid)

You may decide to include all 3 in your kit. The choice is yours.

10. Mascara

You need a very good eyeliner that darkens, thickens, lengthens, and/or defines the eyelashes.

Maybelline’s Volume Express One By One Mascara is a very good one.

11. False Lashes

Mac and Ardell False Lashes are some of my favouites.

12. Lip pencils

13. Lipsticks & Lipgloss

14. Lipstick sealer
Lipcote is a very good one. And its affordable

15. Setting Sprays

Model in a bottle setting spray and Mac Fix+ Spray

16. Brushes

A makeup brush set is recommended.

These items should be in your bridal makeup kit.
